KSSC host the Kineton Music Festival as a contribution to improving village life
2017 Kineton Music Festival, Saturday 17th June
What a brilliant day !!!
KMF 2017 had perfect festival weather which brought out over 2,100 people of all ages to enjoy the show.
On top of that we raised a record £14,000+ for our two charities, Myton Hospice and the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
So a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors, volunteers and guests who made it happen.
You may have seen in the local press that KMF was the subject of fraud and theft in 2016/17. We are pleased to report that ALL money has been recoverd and our charities have been paid in full. The details of the case can be seen by clicking here.
Another showery day (where has Summer gone?) didn't dampen the enthusiasm of another good crowd at the 2016 Music Festival. Happily the weather improved through the day so our UB40 tribute band "Rats in the Kitchen" were able to put on a great show for our audience.
Over 1,400 people attended and enjoyed a great variety of music, food and childrens entertainment.
Rats in the Kitchen said you were a great crowd and they really enjoyed playing for you !
Thanks to everyone who attended the music festival. We raised £9,390 for our charities, Myton Hospice and the Air Ambulance, which takes our total since we started to £21,890.
Despite the rain, attendance was up on last year with about 1,600 people attending the show. Everyone seemed determined to have a great time and we were finally rewarded with some dry weather for our headline bands, Legend and the Great Pretender.
Both those bands and our other acts put on a great show that was enjoyed by all.
And don't forget the Eve of Festival party which had the club bar packed to the rafters with great sets from Highway 61, Dave Pinchard and Lya with Not Taken.
2015 Headline Bands - Queen and Bob Marley !
OK, so not the originals but the next best thing.....
First up was the fantastic Bob Marley tribute band - Legend
Followed by one of the UK's leading Queen tribute acts - The Great Pretender and his band HRH
21st June 2014 - What a fantastic day !
The sun shone. The music played. The beer flowed......and a record number of festival goers had the very best of times. A wonderfully relaxed vibe was established early on and it lasted throughout the day. A huge thank you to all those who supported us, to our brilliant bands, who did a fantastic job, to all the volunteers who helped run the day, and to our much valued sponsors without whom none of this would be possible.
All gate receipts go to our two charities, Warwickshire Air Ambulance and Myton Hospice. We collected even more than last year with £6500 to divide between them. One of our aims was to increase the number of young people who attended the festival and they came in their hundreds helping to raise the attendance by 50% to 1350.

We have already identified a number of ways in which we can improve the festival for next year while retaining its special character. Of course, we would love to see you again, so put next year's date in you calendar.
